Position Available:: Architectural Intern
General Description:: Mougeot Architecture is seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Intern to join our growing design team.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to be involved in more than just one phase of a project. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to projects from early design and visualization through construction documents and construction administration, while working closely with experienced architects, consultants, and clients.

What You’ll Do
As part of our team, you will:
• Collaborate with architects and project teams during all phases of design and construction
• Assist with conceptual design, space planning, and design development
• Develop drawings and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
• Create presentation graphics, renderings, and other visual materials
• Participate in project meetings and consultant coordination
• Assist with construction administration and field observations
• Develop physical and digital models to communicate design ideas
• Gain hands-on experience with the complete architectural process, from initial concept through project completion

The ideal candidate will have:
• A professional or master’s degree in architecture
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

Position Available:: Intern Architect
General Description:: We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Intern Architect with at least 2 years of professional experience to join our design team. In this position, you won't just be drafting; you will play a key role in developing construction documents, coordinating with consultants, and helping realize innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design Development: Translate schematic concepts into detailed design drawings and 3D models.
• Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive construction document sets (plans, sections, elevations, and schedules) using AutoCAD.
• Consultant Coordination: Assist in integrating structural, MEP, and civil engineering requirements into the architectural set.
• Code Research: Conduct preliminary zoning and building code analysis to ensure project compliance.
• Project Support: Participate in site visits, attend client meetings, and assist in the construction administration phase (RFIs and submittals).
Qualifications
• Education: B.Arch or M.Arch from an NAAB-accredited program.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an architectural office setting (post-graduation or significant year-round internship experience).
• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
o Experience with Microsoft Office, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam is highly preferred.
• Licensure Track: Currently enrolled in the NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and actively pursuing licensure.
• Soft Skills: A high degree of organization, a keen eye for details, a collaborative mindset, and strong graphic communication.
